The Devil is Defeated                                   "Ye have overcome the wicked one"         For as much then as the children of God are partakers of flesh and blood, he also         himself likewise took part of the same: that through death, he might destroy him         that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Hebrews 2:14 The Lord Jesus Christ defeated the devil and destroyed his works.  Therefore, I your name repent from trying to do what Jesus already did.  I will not try to add to the work of the Cross of Christ with my dead work of trying to conquer the devil.  I acknowledge that the devil is defeated in Christ.         For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works         of the devil.  1 John 3:8 I your name affirm and decree that I am dead in Christ to the devil and resurrected unto God.  I AM delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son.  I HAVE overcome the devil through the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.                                        It is finished in Christ. I decide to abide and rest from my own labors in the work of Christ.  Thank you Lord for the victory.  I don't have to get it.                                       I have it in Jesus' name.         Who has delivered me from the power of darkness and hath translated me into the         kingdom of His dear Son.  Col 1:13         "And I overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word of  my testimony"            Rev. 12:11         And having spoiled the principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly,              triumphing over them in it.  Col 2:15                                                                                                 DLK : The Sure Foundation
